Field enclosures
32-input DC enclosure with 16 measurement channels of 50A. IP66, RS485 Modbus RTU, integrated 24VDC auxiliary power supply. Designed to coexist with inverters of different brands, on plants of any size.
Strings
SG-QDC32/16
SunGuard String Boxes install on any type of inverter and plant. They monitor the current of each string and can be equipped with a shunt trip coil.
They communicate with the SunGuard Box via RS485 and integrate a 24VDC power supply and an additional serial port for one or more Sensor Boxes.

Type 2 surge arrester at 1000V with three self-protected varistors. String fuses 10/12A 1000Vdc 10×38 on all inputs. Main disconnector 4×280A with 2 poles in parallel; shunt trip coil and remote signalling on request.
Modbus RTU protocol at 9600 bps, mechanical addressing from 1 to 254. Additional serial port for connecting one or more SunGuard Sensor Boxes.
Screw terminals on 32 inputs, incoming cables max 64×6mm² via cable gland. LED indicators for active current and 24VDC power supply. Class 2, double insulation.
Platform
Data
The String Box communicates with the SGE datalogger via RS485 Modbus RTU. Current data for each string is acquired every 5 minutes, transmitted to the Operations Centre and made available on the cloud dashboard, with history and reporting.
Alarms
Production anomalies, tripped arresters or strings out of parameter generate alarms with configurable escalation — and notification to the NOC and, where provided, to the plant manager.
